Lisa Lewis is a local physical therapist and climber; she and her husband will be traveling to Nepal this spring to trek from Katmandu to Everest basecamp. Marli Gordon (Nepali for Nepali) and Lisa were put in contact with each other by Zakira Beasley, one of the originators of Open Hands. Marli has identified a school, will purchase the supplies (less expensive in Nepal) and will arrange a visit to the school for Lisa and her husband, where she has warned them “you will be treated as royalty”!
