From Lisa: While I was in Nepal I learned the even greater need is for teachers in remote places where little to no government assistance is received. After speaking with Marli Gordon (who ran the NGO (non-governmental organization) Nepali for Nepali: relief in Nepal after the 2015 earthquake), I’ve decided to continue to raise money for kids in Nepal, but with a different focus: teacher salaries for schools in remote areas.
